Larch Lodge

Overall we had a lovely stay, it was the perfect location for a weekend away. Positive: The lodge was situated in a lovely location, with the lakeside views a big positive for us. We loved sitting watching the birds and the ducks. The front area was enclosed and our dog loved out in this area. The hot tub was great and was at the perfect temperature when we arrived. The bathroom and kitchen was modern. Negative: The hot tub patio area at the back of the cabin was not secure for our small dog so we could not let him out here without being on the lead. We understand how quick cobwebs can appear after cleaning but if the property had left something for us to clean them with, then we could have done so as there was a lot throughout the property in the corners of the rooms and outside on the garden furniture, windows and doors. We heard nothing from the owners apart from a message online 3 days before we arrived.

Positive: Lovely and peaceful. No one bothered you. Beautiful place. Would definatly return. Only one problem. We didnt want to come home 😀 Negative: Nothing. Everything was perfect

Perfect in everyway, been several times and this time, we came for our mini honeymoon! Positive: Everything!! Negative: I miss seeing the Bulls and sheep in the fields (due to expansion and not being fenced back off yet)

Great location. Lodge needs a little TLC. Bedding was stained and bed made a noise everytime everytime you moved. Window Positive: Perfect location Negative: Noisy bed and bleach stained bedding!! No comfortable seating to relax in the evening.
